Christmas 2009

As we were blessed to have some time off work and school for the holidays we flew off to Utah to spend Christmas with my family. The vacation started by going to see the lights at Temple Square in Salt Lake with Janessa, Jeremy and Kayla after they picked us up from the airport. We hadn't been there in 3 years so it was really nice to go again. It was beautiful and really cold. California has made me a wimp when it comes to the cold. I have become used to 50-60 degree weather in the winter and had to adjust to the 15-25 degree weather for the time we were there. Buurrrrrr! We played games at every opportunity, were entertained by all the children and had some good quality time with the kiddos. It was also fun to see all my nieces and nephews. We were able to see everyone in my immediate family including spouses which is rare. It was so great to see everyone. We had a great Christmas eve dinner and Christmas day! It was a wonderful week even though I got the stomach flu 2 days before Christmas and that is the reason why I slacked on the pictures. It took me awhile to feel 100% better. Regardless, we are so glad we were able to make the trip!
