That is what the sign about kitten adoptions in the shopping center should have said because that is what happened. Back in March Jeff pointed out the sign about the kitten adoption near the pet store. I was having a particularly bad day/week/month and what better medicine than a warm, fuzzy, cuddly kitten to cheer you up. I walked in planning on them cheering me up just in side the store and then I could be okay to leave but.......after 2 hours of holding Callie I couldn't leave without her and well she couldn't go without her brother Tux whom Jeff was holding. So we decided to be crazy and adopt them. We knew that Rhona grew up with cats in her foster home and so we were not worried about that, in fact Tux and Rhona are best friends now. They play all the time together. Callie is a little more nervous but tolerates Rhona just fine. I didn't use to be a cat person. In fact growing up I didn't like them at all. I guess falling in love with Rhona made me soften up toward animals in general and I love my kitties. Now Jeff has his dog and I have my kitties. Callie follows me around the house and watches me do whatever I am doing and Tux loves it when I dangle his feather for him to play with. Okay so I might be going into more detail than most people really care about and you might think I have turned into a crazy cat lady but I don't care what you think, I love that we have a tiny apartment full of animals.
They were pretty scared when they first came home with us and the first thing they did was find a place to hide and this is where they found.
