Thanksgiving Week

I had the week off work for Thanksgiving and at the last minute my mom decided to come visit for the week. I was so excited for her to come. This was the first time she had come to visit while I living here in California. It was also the longest drive she had ever done. I am glad she stuck out the long drive and came to visit because we had so much fun. She brought Kaden, Karissa, Keyana and Austin with her. The weather was beautiful!! We went swimming in our heated pool, played at the park, watched movies, played with the dogs, walked around downtown Christmas in the park, and spent a day at the beach! None of the kids were the slightest afraid of the dogs. Karissa played tug a war with Rhona and WON! I can't play tug a war with Rhona because Rhona is too strong. Karissa played with the dogs the most, next to Austin, and when she wasn't playing with them she was cuddling with them. Thanksgiving was nice, we went to Jeff's sister's house for dinner and had a wonderful time. Our day at the beach was much better than expected. I thought that it would be pretty chilly and we would just walk around for a little. We didn't think the kids would want to get in the water at all because the water is freezing. Well we couldn't have been more wrong. It was 75 degrees with no wind and all sun and the kids went straight for the water and didn't even notice how cold it was. They were soaked from head to toe. We spent several hours there and enjoyed every minute! I already miss them! I called just the other day and all the kiddos wanted to talk to me. The first thing Karissa asked me was when Rhona, Rocko and I were coming to their house. I am so grateful for the best family in the entire world! I feel more loved from my family than anyone ever could!
