15 Months!

The tough things are getting tougher but somehow God made it so it all balances out because just when I seem to have had enough of his new temper tantrums he does something new that is just too cute and I can't resist kissing and hugging him. That is how I would describe CJ at 15 months.
He babbles all day long and in there are a few words that I will recognize like, "no" (his favorite word right now, so we are trying not to say it anymore, to him or the dogs) "stop" "ball" "ma" "da" "woah" "hi" "dog" "na" (which is his way of saying "Rhona" or his other favorite things to say which is more of a grunt or roar. He ends most stories with it.
I love it when we laughed and he starts laughing too. Even better is when we are at church and the congregation laughs and he busts up laughing after everybody is done laughing. CJ LOVES the water! We go to the pool at least twice a week. It is so nice to have a pool to go to right here in our neighborhood because most days it is all we can do when it is so hot and we want to get out of the house. If he hears music he is dancing. I love it!! CJ is just starting to really love books. He loves to point at the pictures just like mommy and tell the story all by himself. Some of his favorite toys right now are not toys at all and the things we try to keep away from him like the remote, phones, xbox controller and cords. I especially don't let him have the cords, don't worry, but he sure likes to try and find them. Other things he loves are, his blanket, stuffed animal dog, any kind of ball and cars (any kind of vehicle he plays with he makes the a vroom sound)
He is such a busy boy. He loves to explore and I am constantly trying to keep up with his messes. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
My favorite thing at the moment is something he just learned a few days ago. I can say "kisses" and he opens his mouth and gives me a kiss. (we are working on more pucker and less slober but that ok) Pure joy!

At his fifteen month checkup at the doctor here were his stats:
Weight: 24 lbs 15 oz.......71%
Height: 32 1/2 in......89%
Head Circum: 48.2 cm.....85%

His first major haircut that makes him look so much older. He looked like a different kid after and it took me a day or two to get use to it.

Such a happy boy!!

Love this kid!

CJ LOVES to play fetch with the dogs and the dogs are so good about playing nice with CJ.  Rocko is waiting so patiently for the ball.

He he is just about to throw the ball to the dogs.

No longer a baby. He is definitely growing up. Mr. Toddler now.

I don't have any picture at the pool but here he is playing in a bucket of water on our deck.

I turned the camera around on my phone so he could see himself on the camera and he immediately smiled this big ol' smile. He thought it was great to see himself on the camera phone.

A toy in each hand and a toy in his mouth. This is how he spends the day usually. :)

Wow! He looks so big! Definitely not a baby anymore:) Can't believe how fast they learn things! Also, love his little haircut! It makes him look older for sure, and he is super handsome:)
