Life is Beachy

CJ and I have been more than enjoying ourselves at the beach this summer and summer has only just begun. There are quite a few young families in our ward and a good bunch of us go to the beach together regularly. Having a bunch of girls to hang out with regularly and a bunch of kids CJ's age has made the transition to Virginia Beach so easy. A big plus to the beach is that it is free!! (well depends on which one you go to. Our favorite one costs $$ to park but it sure is one of the cheapest things to do during the summer when it is blazing hot outside!) Jeff gets a little jealous that we have been going to the beach so often and he has yet to come with us this summer because of how hard he is working. I am so proud of him and how hard he is working to provide for our family.  Hopefully the bad weather that is headed our way this weekend will move eastward into the ocean more and not hit us this fourth of July so that Jeff can join us at the beach for a wonderful celebration of Independence Day.

What's better than a giant sand box next to a a giant bathtub?

Utter exhaustion after a day at the beach :)

His face is always covered in sand and I am surprised at the amount of sand he eats when I give him a snack and he doesn't care that his hands are covered in sand.

Love these girls!

We saw dolphins this time! So cool! I didn't get it on camera though. It won't be the last time we see them though :)

Instead of dolphins we saw crab on this day. A rather big one too. It wanted to dig a hole right next to my shoes. They are fast little critters! There eyes are so funny to me just sticking straight up.

This looks like so much fun!! I remember my summers when it was just me and Mason and we were at the pool almost every day. Such a wonderful time of life. Enjoy every second of it!!
