We decided a last month that Jeff needed to start looking elsewhere for a job. The current practice he was at started to go in a different direction than he wanted and so he started applying to other practices in Virginia (Virginia because that is where he currently has a license to practice). He got two interviews in southern Virginia and so we decided to make a mini trip out of it.
The first town was a teeny tiny town called South Hill. Wonderfully nice husband and wife who owned the practice and Jeff interviewed very well. I don't think I could live in that small of a town though. I mean they had a grocery store and a walmart but other than that short street with those few things, that was it, that was the town.
We then drove two hours to Virginia Beach. Civilization!! Wow, what a difference. I don't want to live in a huge city but I can't live in the "sticks" either. A happy medium would be nice and Virginia Beach is just that. Jeff had a wonderful interview with a doctor who is geared towards sports chiropractics and Jeff really loved that. Things look good towards that job but we are still waiting to hear back.
We had a wonderful time. We walked around the beach for a short while, it was cold though, pretty but cold.
CJ was SO CUTE with the puppy. He is use to big dogs so it was funny to watch him play with a puppy so little but the puppy was so sweet and let CJ try and pick him up and try to put her on his lap and play with him.
CJ is trying to give the toy to the puppy here
